Like a lookout and contemplation tower that opens onto the landscape, the silo of pictures looks out to the east over the Abbaye-en-Grandvaux lake and to the west over the dry grasslands and pastures.

From the parking lot, follow the D 146 to the left for around fifty metres, then head right for 150 metres on a small tarmac road. Turn left to take the farm road to the SILO OF PICTURES (SILO A IMAGES) junction. A few metres to your right, you will reach this structure perched on the ridge.

Practical informations

Recommendations: We recommend wearing trainers to access the silo, as the walk is around ten minutes long with the last section on a farm path.

Road access: 6 km from Saint-Laurent-en-Grandvaux, via the D 678, followed by the D 437 and the D 146 on exiting the hamlet Les Chauvins.

Suggested parking: Grande Rivière town hall, in the Les Guillons hamlet.
