Gîte (Louvrier)

This Comté farm was built in 1783 in a small hamlet above the village of Foncine-le-Haut. You can admire the open views of the landscape from the gîte’s terrace. Surrounded by nature, you can take your time observing the biodiversity of the surrounding area.

The owners, Anne-Lise and Michel, care about the environment and have installed 38 sq. m. of solar panel to produce electricity. Thermal solar panels provide them with hot water and a rainwater retrieval system feeds their toilets and washing machine. In the winter, the property is heated using a wood pellet boiler.

The gîte is ideally located for Nordic and summer hiking activities, cross-country skiing as well as naturalist activities and nature observation.
