Gîte de la Vuillaumière

The property is located in the village of Remoray. No car is needed to go shopping for local products, have a meal at the auberge in the town centre and visit the Maison du Patrimoine (a remarkable museum of local heritage).

The gîte’s terrace overlooks the fields which are laboured by the dairy farm owned by Marie-Madeleine and Jean-Paul’s children 300 metres away. You can attend the milking of Montbéliarde cows and take away some milk.

In the winter, you can take advantage of the cross-country ski slopes and snowshoeing circuits that run close to the gîte. Other Nordic activities are also available in the area. In the summer, there are many opportunities for hikes or outings on bike. At Remoray lake, you can fish and swim. The lake’s natural reserve is just a few kilometres away and is a must-see.
