The administrative capital of the High-Jura Regional Natural Park, the Maison du Parc located in Lajoux is also open to the public and dedicated to the discovery of the wealth found in its region.


It offers all audiences places to visit including:  

  • The permanent exhibition “Haut-Jura terre vivante” (“High Jura, a living land”), to discover all of its facets through colourful, fun and interactive infrastructures.  
  •  A sound show
  •  A visit to a strong attic (“grenier fort”), a remarkable component of the High-Jura’s small rural heritage

The High-Jura Maison du Parc shop offers local works and local artisanal products.

The High-Jura Maison du Parc offers mediation tools for young audiences or pupils.

In addition, the teaching workshop can accommodate groups for various activities centering around the topic of constriction and energy saving, the forest, snow, composting, etc.

Practical informations

Opening times: 

 Find the more detailed annual calendar on the Park’s website

* January, February, March and July and August:

Tuesday to Sunday, from 9am to 1pm and from 1pm to 6pm.

* The rest of the year:

From Tuesday to Friday, from 2pm to 6pm

 

Prices:

- Adults: €5,00

- Children (aged 6-14 years old): €3,00

- Student, jobseeker, disabled individuals: €3,50

- Adult group (> 15 people): €3,50

- Children group (> 15 child.) €2,00
